Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Front-End Engineer to join our engineering team on a 9-month contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for modern, AI-enabled engineers who leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency, code quality, and team productivity.
You will help build scalable, high-performance web applications, developing modern user interfaces using React within a microfrontend architecture and leveraging the client's proprietary design system and component library. Experience in FinTech, payments, or POS platforms is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React.
- Build modular, scalable UI components within a microfrontend architecture.
- Implement user interfaces using the client's design system and component library.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features.
- Ensure performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across modern browsers and devices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices.
- Leverage AI-enabled engineering tools to enhance development workflow, testing, and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience building scalable applications using component-based architecture.
- Familiarity with microfrontend architecture or modular front-end systems.
- Experience working with design systems or reusable UI component libraries.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with large-scale enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern front-end tooling.
- Experience in FinTech, payments, or POS platforms.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows or AI-enabled tools.
