Overview We seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to assist with the ongoing enhancement, maintenance, and development of our websites across two brands.

The majority of the initial work will focus on implementing approved Figma designs, updating website content, creating new pages, refining user experience, and maintaining consistency across our digital platforms. Over time, the successful applicant will also support the broader website environment, including existing backend functionality, integrations, and technical maintenance.

You will be working with an existing React/Next.js website environment and will receive comprehensive handover documentation to support the transition.

This is a contractor opportunity with immediate work available and strong potential for an ongoing long-term relationship.

Primary Responsibilities: 1. Website Enhancements & Front-End Development - Convert completed Figma designs into fully responsive web pages - Ensure pixel-perfect implementation across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices - Create new website pages and templates - Update existing content, layouts, and user journeys - Add, remove, and restructure pages as required - Maintain consistency with established design systems and brand guidelines - Implement page layouts, components, forms, and user interface elements - Apply approved design templates and layouts across multiple pages where required - Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure designs match approved mock-ups - Test and validate pages across major browsers including Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox - Optimise pages for performance, responsiveness, SEO, and user experience - Maintain clean, organised, and well-documented code

2. Technical Maintenance & Support - Troubleshoot website issues and bugs - Support existing integrations and functionality - Assist with maintaining the existing codebase and website environment - Collaborate on future enhancements and development initiatives - Work alongside internal stakeholders to implement website improvements

Existing Technology Stack The successful applicant will be working with an existing technology stack that includes: - Frontend: React / Next.js - Backend: Node.js / Express.js - Database: Firebase / Firestore - Infrastructure: AWS S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53 - Version Control: GitHub While the majority of initial work is front-end focused, familiarity with the broader technology stack will be highly regarded.

Essential Skills - Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Next.js skills - Experience converting Figma designs into production-ready websites - Experience working within existing React/Next.js codebases - Experience using Git and GitHub for version control - Understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion-focused design - Strong understanding of website performance optimisation - Familiarity with technical SEO best practices - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and project management skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Project Structure & Working Environment - Figma designs will be provided for implementation. - In some cases, multiple website pages will share the same design structure and layout. Where this occurs, only one complete Figma design may be provided, and the developer will be responsible for applying the same design framework and styling consistently across the remaining pages. - The successful applicant will be expected to identify reusable components and maintain consistency across similar page templates. - Our websites are hosted on AWS infrastructure and currently support two separate brands. - The developer will be working across both brands as required, implementing new pages, updating existing content, and supporting future website enhancements. - Comprehensive handover documentation will be provided.
