AI-Integrated Design Consultant (Graphic Design / Packaging / Branding)

Role Overview

We're looking for an AI-Integrated Design Consultant to support our Global Design team. This role is for a creative visionary who is proficient in leveraging Generative AI as a strategic co-pilot for accelerated ideation and hyper-efficient asset creation. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate these AI-generated outputs into a rigorous, iterative design workflow using the latest GenAI tools alongside Adobe Creative Suite to curate, composite, and produce high-quality, on-brand final deliverables. They will be responsible for translating creative briefs into compelling visual strategies, guiding the entire design process from initial High-Fidelity Prompt Architecture to final polished asset.

Responsibilities

• Creative Translation: Deconstruct client briefs and marketing goals into actionable visual concepts, moods, and themes.
• AI Prompt Engineering: Develop and refine sophisticated text and image prompts to generate a high volume of diverse visual ideas
• Visual Exploration: Use AI tools for rapid "what if" scenarios, exploring dozens of stylistic directions (color palettes, compositions, typographic treatments) in hours, not days.
• Curation & Selection: Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, selecting the strongest, most on-brand concepts to move forward into development.
• Hybrid Workflow: Export selected AI assets as a "creative base" and bring them into Adobe Creative Suite for iterative development.
• Compositing & Retouching: Use Photoshop to composite multiple AI-generated elements, clean up artifacts, match branding, and perform high-end retouching.
• Vector & Layout: Use Illustrator and InDesign to integrate AI-generated textures or elements into brand-compliant layouts, adding typography, logos, and vector graphics.
• Feedback Loops: Present initial "AI-assisted" comps to team, gather feedback, and rapidly iterate by either refining the AI prompts _or making manual adjustments in the Creative Suite.
• Asset Scalability: Rework, upscale, and adapt initial concepts into a full suite of deliverables (e.g., static ads, social media posts, motion graphics elements).

Requirements

• A strong portfolio that clearly shows a documented hybrid process showcasing initial AI prompt structure, resulting AI-generated images, and the final, refined deliverables produced in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Expert Fluency with Generative AI Tools, demonstrating a mastery of Prompt Architecture, Negative Prompting, and Iterative Model Refinement across key platforms (e.g., Nano Banana, DALL-E, Firefly).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful design strategies.
• Expert Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Highly attuned to consumer packaging design requirements
• Strong understanding of the design process from concept to execution.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and contribute to a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Flexible, open team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work autonomously in a global context
• Must supply own software/hardware
• NYC accessibility for occasional in-office connections is a plus, but not a deal breaker.
