Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior UI / Design Systems Designer to support a major eCommerce redesign for a leading skincare brand. This role is focused on UI execution and design system component development - building scalable, high-quality components that power a modern Shopify-based experience.
What You'll Do
- Design and evolve UI components within an existing design system
- Create responsive web components optimized for Shopify
- Support core shopping experience redesign (PDP, PLP, cart, etc.)
- Contribute to design system enhancements (tokens, typography, components)
- Ensure consistency, scalability, and usability across the experience
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams
- Support QA and implementation reviews in Shopify
Requirements
- Senior-level experience (5+ years) in UI / Product Design
- Strong experience with design systems and component libraries
- Hands-on experience designing for eCommerce (B2C required)
- Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms
- Strong responsive web design experience
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in beauty / skincare / consumer brands
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience supporting usability testing or optimization work
