Product Designer

Role Overview

We're looking for a mid-level product designer who is highly hands-on and startup-minded. This is a full-stack design role, spanning UX research, product thinking, interaction design, and UI execution, with a strong focus on mobile app experiences.

You will work closely with the Design Lead, product managers, and engineers to design and ship high-quality product experiences quickly. The right candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats, conducting lightweight research, and moving from insights → flows → UI → production-ready designs.

Responsibilities

• Design mobile-first product experiences from concept through production
• Conduct UX research and user testing to inform design decisions
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ship features quickly
• Contribute to and maintain design systems and component libraries
• Iterate rapidly based on user feedback and product data
• Support the team in building scalable product experiences in a fast-moving startup environment

Requirements

• ~4-7 years of product design experience
• Strong mobile app design experience (iOS / Android)
• Experience across the full design stack, including UX research
• Ability to work autonomously and execute quickly
• Strong collaboration with product and engineering
• Comfortable working in startup environments with ambiguity
• Experience with modern design tools and AI-assisted workflows
• Experience in EdTec or experience designing AI-driven, conversational, or coaching-style interfaces preferred
• Exposure to design systems and scalable product design practices

Pay Ranges (Contract)

Final pay rate will be based on location, qualifications and experience

• UK: $60-$90/hr
• Spain: $40-$60/hr
• Portugal: $35-$55/hr
