Position Overview

As the Brand Activation Manager, CELSIUS U - Iberia, you will lead the launch and development of the CELSIUS University ecosystem across Spain and Portugal.

This is a market-building role: CELSIUS U is being launched in Iberia, so this person will help build the university, ambassador, and campus activation ecosystem from the ground up.

Key responsibilities include owning university marketing strategy, student ambassador programs, campus activations, sampling programs, and community partnerships to strengthen brand awareness and affinity within the 18-24 target audience.

You will coordinate agencies, ambassadors, and local activations while connecting fitness, lifestyle, university culture, and local communities with the CELSIUS brand.

This role will work closely with the Fitness Trade Marketing Manager and local market leadership to connect university, fitness, lifestyle, and community activation across Iberia.

**Please note:

  • Salary range (35k - 45k) in in Euros per year
  • Location: Madrid or Barcelona, with hybrid office access available in Barcelona
  • Travel: Regular travel across Spain and Portugal will be required for campus activations, ambassador programs, sampling, community partnerships

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the CELSIUS U strategy across Spain and Portugal, building a scalable university ecosystem that drives awareness, trial, and brand affinity.
  • Recruit, train, and manage the CELSIUS U Ambassador network, ensuring strong engagement, execution excellence, and brand representation on campus.
  • Plan and execute campus activations, events, and sampling programs, working closely with agencies, partners, and local stakeholders.
  • Build and nurture relationships with universities, student organizations, and community partners to expand CELSIUS' presence and relevance.
  • Coordinate content, assets, and local campaigns to ensure consistent execution across all university touchpoints.
  • Track program performance, gather consumer insights, and identify opportunities to continuously optimize activations and improve results.
  • Act as the link between Brand, Fitness, Content, and local communities, ensuring all initiatives align with CELSIUS' Live. Fit. Go. positioning.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in community, experiential, youth, campus, grassroots, or brand activation marketing.
  • Proven track record executing brand activations, ambassador programs, sampling programs, events, or consumer engagement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of campaign execution, local adaptation, event management, and community-building.
  • Experience managing agencies, ambassadors, external partners, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience within university/campus marketing, student ambassador programs, youth culture, fitness, lifestyle, sports, festivals, music events, or experiential activations is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze performance data, identify insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Highly proactive, entrepreneurial, and self-starting mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently in a new-market environment with limited existing structure, high ownership, and a strong bias for action.
  • Strong community-building and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly across Spain and Portugal for campus activations, events, sampling programs, and community partnerships.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Passion for fitness, lifestyle, youth culture, and active communities.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
  • Equivalent experience will also be considered.
