Learning Designer, Spanish Language

Role Overview

We're looking for a Spanish Learning Designer to help shape high-quality, engaging language learning experiences at scale. This is a hands-on role combining pedagogy, content design, and product collaboration, with exposure to AI-powered learning features.

You'll work on designing and improving Spanish learning content used by millions of learners globally, ensuring lessons are practical, effective, and aligned with real-world usage.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Spanish language learning content (lessons, exercises, curricula)
• Apply strong instructional design and pedagogical principles for digital learning
• Continuously improve content based on learner data, insights, and usage patterns
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to evolve learning experiences
• Contribute to AI-powered features (e.g., prompt writing, content adaptation, learning flows)
• Review and QA content to maintain high quality and consistency

Requirements

• Master's degree in languages, linguistics, education, or related field
• Proven experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language
• Experience designing lesson content and curricula
• Deep understanding of Spanish grammar and language systems
• Strong data-driven mindset
• C2-level Spanish and strong English proficiency
• Experience in EdTech
• Experience working with AI tools or prompt design for LLMs
• Familiarity with CMS tools or content platforms
• Experience learning another language
• Highly hands-on and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
• Able to balance pedagogical rigor with product speed and iteration

Contractor Pay Range

• UK: $45-70/hr
• Spain: $30-50/hr
• Portugal: $28-45/hr
• Final pay rate based on location, qualifications, and experience
