Senior Full Stack Engineer
Reunion Marketing is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help shape the future of Altitude - our automotive marketing intelligence platform, trusted by 500+ dealerships across the US.
You will own features end-to-end - from architectural decisions and API integrations to polished Vue.js interfaces - and play a key role in keeping our event-driven backend reliable and scalable as we grow.

About the Role
As a senior member of our engineering team, you will take full ownership of features across Altitude - from dealership-facing dashboards and reporting tools to the data pipelines and integrations that power them. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to deliver software that directly impacts how hundreds of dealerships market and grow their business.
What You Will Do
- Design and build full-stack features in Laravel and Vue.js, from spec through deployment.
- Architect and maintain event-driven systems - queues, events, and async workers - with reliability and observability in mind.
- Lead integrations with third-party services and internal microservices, writing clean, well-documented integration layers.
- Collaborate on cloud deployments across our AWS infrastructure (S3, EC2, ECS).
- Review pull requests, raise the bar on coding standards, and mentor mid-level and junior engineers.
- Use AI coding tools as part of your daily workflow - and own the output. Every AI-assisted change goes through the same review, testing, and release discipline as anything you write yourself, and you hold it to the same bar for correctness, security, maintainability, and architectural fit.
- Participate in architectural discussions and shape the long-term technical roadmap alongside senior leadership.
- Write clean, test-covered code and champion engineering best practices across the team.
What We Are Looking For
Technical Requirements
- 5+ years building production-grade full-stack web applications.
- Deep expertise in Laravel (PHP) - Eloquent ORM, queues, jobs, events, and service providers.
- Strong proficiency with Vue.js (2 or 3) and modern JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Solid grasp of event-driven architecture - message queues, pub/sub, async processing.
- Strong RESTful API design skills and experience integrating complex third-party APIs.
- Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) - query optimization, schema design, migrations.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable with spec-driven development - writing and working from functional and technical specs before implementation.
- Strong working knowledge of structured data and schema-aware backend patterns that keep integrations reliable and systems maintainable.
- Practical experience using AI coding tools in real engineering work, with the judgment to validate, refine, or reject output that does not meet the bar for correctness, security, or architectural fit.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Laravel Horizon, Laravel Octane, or other Laravel performance tooling.
- Hands-on experience with AWS S3, EC2, and ECS.
- Background in B2B product companies; exposure to digital marketing, adtech, or automotive tech is a bonus.
- Exposure to retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), structured data harnesses, or more advanced AI/data orchestration patterns.
