Location: 2 days/ week in Torrance, CA**

About the Role

American Honda Motor is seeking an AI Business Data Analyst to support the performance, measurement, and continuous improvement of customer-facing generative AI and conversational AI products. This role sits at the intersection of product, analytics, and AI operations, helping translate production AI behavior into actionable insights, product recommendations, and measurable business outcomes.

Key Activities

• Define, monitor, and report on KPIs related to AI product performance, customer experience, quality, and business impact.
• Analyze conversation logs, user behavior, feedback, operational metrics, and AI performance signals to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Design and support AI evaluation frameworks, including quality reviews, benchmark testing, human evaluation workflows, and LLM-based evaluation approaches.
• Build dashboards, scorecards, and recurring business reviews that inform roadmap decisions and backlog prioritization.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, QA, and CX teams to define requirements, support Agile delivery, validate releases, and improve AI-powered customer experiences.

Key Requirements

• Experience in business analytics, product analytics, product operations, AI operations, or related analytical roles supporting digital products.
• Strong ability to define KPIs, build dashboards, analyze customer and product data, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Practical understanding of generative AI applications, conversational AI, LLMs, prompt-based systems, RAG architectures, and AI evaluation concepts.
• Experience with SQL, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and other analytics and reporting tools.
• Ability to translate complex AI system behavior into clear business recommendations and product improvements.
