Sr UI/Design Systems Designer

Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior UI / Design Systems Designer to support a major eCommerce redesign for a leading skincare brand. This role is focused on UI execution and design system component development - building scalable, high-quality components that power a modern Shopify-based experience.

What You'll Do

• Design and evolve UI components within an existing design system
• Create responsive web components optimized for Shopify
• Support core shopping experience redesign (PDP, PLP, cart, etc.)
• Contribute to design system enhancements (tokens, typography, components)
• Ensure consistency, scalability, and usability across the experience
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams
• Support QA and implementation reviews in Shopify

Requirements

• Senior-level experience (5+ years) in UI / Product Design
• Strong experience with design systems and component libraries
• Hands-on experience designing for eCommerce (B2C required)
• Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms
• Strong responsive web design experience
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Experience in beauty / skincare / consumer brands
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience supporting usability testing or optimization work
